Trad Week 2024, February 12 - 18
Trad Week 2023 was a rousing success! Thanks to all the musicians who came to play, and thanks to everyone who came to bear witness! More people came together than ever before - thank you for being a part of it all!
Trad Week is an annual tradition at The Wolfhound, a full week to celebrate the enduring legacy of traditional Irish music. We fly in Irish musicians + singers to perform all week long.
Monday through Thursday, music is played by musicians gathered around the Session Table. These jam sessions include improvisation as well as entire traditional songs. Musicians are encouraged to join in - this is part of the fun of Trad Week! We arrange a lineup, but we never know who could surprise us with a visit. These sessions are casual + communal, starting at 8pm.
Friday through Sunday, music is performed on the Wolfhound stage, more of a concert. These nights are the culmination of the week. Concerts start at 7pm & 10pm and there is a $20 cover charge until midnight.
